The Tony Award-winning Handspring Puppet Company from Cape Town, South Africa, has spent the past week in residence at Dartmouth, giving workshops and lectures. The company’s co-directors, Adrian Kohler and Basil Jones, are on campus as Montgomery Fellows.
[more]Award-winning author Philip Gourevitch will talk about his work in a public lecture, “Crime Scenes and Aftermaths: Writing About Wrongs and Reckoning with Survival,” on July 17. Gourevitch, a staff writer for The New Yorker, is in residence summer term as a Montgomery Fellow through July 19. His lecture begins at 4:30 p.m., in Filene Auditorium, located in Moore Hall.
[more]Acclaimed writer Louise Erdrich ’76 will be in residence at Dartmouth as a Montgomery Fellow from May 21 to 25. The award-winning author of Love Medicine and most recently Shadow Tag (2010) will read from her work and engage in a public conversation with Professor of Native American Studies N. Bruce Duthu on Tuesday, May 22, at 4:30 p.m., in Cook Auditorium in the Murdough building at the Tuck School of Business.
