John K. Galbraith was one of America’s most revered economists and a diplomat who advocated for American liberalism. He served as a professor of economics at Harvard for more than 50 years and authored an impressive 46 books. Most of his books focused on economics, but Galbraith also wrote novels and a memoir, A Life in Our Times. Some of his best-known books on economics are American Capitalism, The Affluent Society, The New Industrial State, and The Age of Uncertainty.
