Rebecca Newberger Goldstein is a philosopher and award-winning novelist whose work combines science, understanding, self-understanding and imaginative storytelling. Her work in philosophy includes Incompleteness: The Proof and Paradox of Kurt Gödel, and Betraying Spinoza: The Renegade Jew Gave Us Modernity. Plato in the Googleplex: Why Philosophy Won't Go Away will be published in March, 2014. Her novels include the best-selling Mind-Body Problem, The Dark Sister, Properties of Light: A Novel of Love, Betrayal and Quantum Physics, and Mazel, all award winners. Her latest novel is 36 Arguments for the Existence of God: A Work of Fiction. Goldtein is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships for her scholarship and fiction, including Guggenheim and National Science Foundation scholarship, and MacArthur "Genius" Prize.
