As the Montgomery Fellows Program starts celebrating its 40th anniversary, we are honored to have Sir Salman Rushdie opening the academic year 2017/18.

~~Montgomery Fellow during the summer term 2017, Sir Salman Rushdie is an acclaimed author and essayist. He's written 11 novels, including the Booker Prize-winning Midnight's Children, The Satanic Verses, and a memoir, Joseph Anton. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2007, and has served as President of the PEN American Center.
